Anne Groenen is a social worker and doctor in criminological sciences. She obtained her PhD on violence and stalking at the Institue of Criminology at the Catholic University of Leuven. She is Head of Research of APART. She is also research and services coordinator in Health Care at the Catholic University of Limburg (KHLIM) and an affiliated researcher at the Leuven Institute of Criminology. Furthermore, she gives training to the police, judicial authorities and caregivers. She is author of several articels and books on aggression and risk assessment.
Anke Van Vossole completed a master degree in Sociology and a master in Social and Cultural Anthropology at the Catholic University of Leuven. At APART, she works as a researcher on projects concerning child abuse and chain collaboration, risk assessment for various forms of violence, honour related violence and radicalisation among young people. In the past, she conducted research on sexual and gender-based violence at the International Centre for Reproductive Health (Ghent), including sexual violence in conflict zones, honour related violence and female genital mutilation. She has also been active in the women's rights team of Amnesty International Flanders for several years already. Sarah Matkoski graduated from the Catholic University of Leuven in 2006 as a master in Psychology, option Clinical Psychology, where she also completed her teacher training in Psychological and Educational Sciences (KULeuven). She is a member of the Belgian Federation of Psychologists (approval number 832 106 801) and the Flemish Association of Clinical Psychologists. Currently, she participates in the four-year advanced training system therapist at IPRR (recognised by BVRGS, the Belgian Association for Relationship Therapy and System Counselling). Sarah works part-time as a researcher at APART. She is also affiliated with the Leuven Instiute of Criminology, where she is preparing a PhD in Criminology. Sarah Matkoski also gained experience ini psychodiagnostic work and guiding individuals (psychologis at the Reserach Unit of Leuven Centraal, research for the Court of Assizes). |
