The research line APART is especially active in scientific research, services to the public and training to professionals in the fields of well-being, police and justice.

Experience was gained in the next topics:

• Partner violence: phenomenology, typology, methodologies, multidisciplinary approach, and evaluation research;
• Child abuse: phenomenology, multidisciplinary approach;
• Risk taxation in several forms of violencce (for instance: partner violence, child abuse)
• Stalking (in general, ex-partners, students, professionals, and cyber stalking)
• Agression in  health care;
• Attitudes about violence;
• Public nuisance: teens hanging around, neighbourhood problems;
• Radicalisation with youngsters;
• Methodological support in research;
• Giving advice to local authorities on well-being, police, justice and health care;
• Publically financed research projects
